Glenhaven offers very flexible accommodation which will suit a variety of guests. It can comfortably meet the needs of a family (of two adults and children over 14 years), a couple or a small party of adults.
The main 'Glenhaven' door leads into a small reading area with doorways to the fully-tiled, en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower and also the bedrooms.
This twin-bedded room has a bright, airy and cheerful character. Decorated in muted greens and browns to reflect the colours of the distant glen, it is peaceful and relaxing. The room captures the afternoon and evening sunlight and the floor to ceiling window looking out onto our palm tree gives a real holiday feel.
The flat screen, freeview TV. All 'amenities' come with this room.
Haven looks overlooks the side patio of Carraig Mhor and neighbouring cottages. The room offers a side view to the pier, Lamlash Bay and the northern part of Holy Isle. Whilst this is not a direct sea view, it does enable visitors to watch the comings and goings of marine craft and affords a partial view of the bay and island. A Velux window looks out over Carraig Mhor's lawned and wooded sloping rear garden towards the tree-screened red sandstone cliff face from which Carraig Mhor takes its name. The keen-eyed may glimpse the red squirrels who inhabit the garden (coming within a few feet of the back door to play by the pond) or the magnificent male pheasant who breakfasts under the bird feeder. The Velux window has a fitted blind but the more romantically inclined may prefer to lie in bed and watch the stars!
Haven is decorated in shades of aquamarine and foam-white, solid wood furniture in a driftwood shade adds to the seaside ambience. The room has a large flat-screen TV and all 'amenities'.
Glenhaven may be booked to accommodate 3 or 4 people (double and two single beds.) Please telephone us if you need further information. Please note, when booking only Haven double or Glen twin you will have exclusive use of that room and it's en-suite facilities.
